block text imput in a drop-down, date field

Hello,

i wonder if is possible to block text Input in a drop down and date field.

In my application i have a drop down list with certain values from 0.1 to 1.

Now the Situation i am on the ipad and if i hit not exactly the arrow on the right side of the drop down the virtual Keyboard Pops up and allows me to enter a value. Can i somehow block this that i can only choos from the values in the drop down?

Same Situation applies on an input date field.
